Broken drain next to foundation

Water leaking from a broken drain or downspout termination will migrate to a crawl space or basement.

Water in a crawl space

Water from the drain pictured above settled in the crawl space of this ten year old home. Moisture or water over time can be extremely destructive to a home. This crawl space had evidence of beginning mold, if left unchecked water can cause a host of problems such as mold and mildew, compromise footings and foundations, and is attractive to wood destroying pests such as termites.

Mold beginning to form on the floor joist

This is the same crawl space as pictured above. Mold remediation can be very costly.

Compromised foundation

This is an expample of a footing failure caused by satuated soil. Repairs are very costly, proper drainage around the foundation is essential.
