Broken drain next to foundation Water leaking from a broken drain or downspout termination will migrate to a crawl space or basement.
Water in a crawl space Water from the drain pictured above settled in the crawl space of this ten year old home. Moisture or water over time can be extremely destructive to a home. This crawl space had evidence of beginning mold, if left unchecked water can cause a host of problems such as mold and mildew, compromise footings and foundations, and is attractive to wood destroying pests such as termites.
